Opposite Worlds Colliding?

I often get asked if I'm ever going to have my Devil's Soldiers women meet the Dragons MC women, and I thought I would answer that for everyone. It's a bit convoluted, so just stay with me.

The Dragons MC and the Devil's Soldiers don't "exist" right now in each other's worlds. As in, when they think of other MCs or allies or whatever, there is no Dragons MC or Devil's Soldiers MC that they could reference or call on. Could that change? Absolutely. Nothing is ever set in stone in my brain. Honestly, I've been giving more thought to having a crossover of sorts, but at the same time, I have to think of a couple of things.

The Devil's Soldiers are not an outlaw motorcycle club. Do they operate completely on the right side of the law? No, and they also get all of their club funds from legitimate sources such as the bar, garage, security company, and other businesses that I will no doubt come up with in the future.

The Dragons MC are 1%ers, so that makes them an outlaw club, which means they handle the "darker" side of the MC world. They do not get all their money from legitimate businesses, though I don't delve deep into that in their series. I really like to focus on what they do to fix the issues that come up with the women in their lives.

When you think about these two clubs and how opposite they are, you have to wonder if their meeting would be a good or a bad thing. I know it's the women that everyone wants to see meet, but when I think about them together, it's not that simple. Could I just have them meet up in a random place and at a random time? Sure. But think of this.

The Coven is the kind of group that likes to participate in pranks, tease and drive their men crazy, and yes, they sometimes land themselves in jail. The Dragons MC women are not happy-go-lucky for the most part. They are harder, grittier, and have been through things that most of us couldn't ever imagine. And honestly, with some of the things that the Coven gets into, would it turn into something more fun? Or would it turn into the Dragons MC women being either triggered or on the defensive? What about if there is trouble? While I think the Coven would be able to take care of themselves, I don't think it's in the same way as the Dragons. There's also the fact that if anyone got jail time for some shenanigans, the Dragon women, due to their connection to an outlaw club, could be in far more serious trouble than the others.

Now, I know you're probably thinking that I'm overthinking it, and you're probably right. I'm really bad at that. But when it comes to my stories, while I try to be funny and do things not exactly logically, I do think that when it comes to some events, I need to really consider what the realities of those situations would be. I also think that I have a lot of readers that like the separation. I have a funny series that people like the suspense in, and then I have a darker series that deals with topics that the other series won't delve into.

All of that being said, I'm a bit of an impulsive writer. When I get an idea, I often times just go with it. So one day, you could all wake up with a short story or something of the two groups meeting, and it is perfectly fine. Nothing with me is impossible, but in my head, I have more than just a short story to figure out. I hope you all know how much I value your readership and how much I love that you enjoy these stories. You all drive my writing to a point, so if I have that many people that want this kind of meet-up, then I'll be more inclined to do it.

So in short, never say never! The Coven and the Dragon Ladies could meet. And we all know that their men will have a fit. Ha! Might need to really increase the bail fund...
